Entry requirements
If you do not have UK qualifications, the university will consider equivalent qualifications from your home country for entry onto the university's Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s courses. Sherborne International School
Sherborne International School provides a world leading introduction to UK boarding schools. Sherborne International welcome a wide international cohort of students who join the school from age 11-17. The students come from many different countries including: Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, China, Japan, France and Belgium.
Special teaching method
School's educational philosophy is based on building a nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to further develop and understand their learning skills, to grow as confident and capable individuals. School offer the chance for an intensive one year IGCSE programme and also have a pre-sixth form course for those looking to develop their independent learning in preparation for further studies. Lessons are taught using the CLIL method (Content and Language through Integrated Learning), which means their teachers are qualified to teach English as a second language. School offer small classes of maximum 8 students and find that in small groups, students play a pivotal role in contribution to each lesson.

As part of the Sherborne School Group, School are able to take advantage of the sports facilities and grounds afforded by the larger schools, whilst maintaining ‘small school’ profile, with family community ethos. Set in the Dorset countryside, Sherborne has a population of approximately 11000 inhabitants with it's own hospital and castle.

International students
Do you require a Tier 4 (G) or (child) student visa to study a course in the UK?
If you move into the UK on a UK family visa to join relatives, you are entitled to study. Otherwise, all international students will need a UK student visa to study a course. Before you can apply for your Tier 4 student visa, you need to have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number from the institution. This is proof that you have been accepted onto a specific course at a specific institution in the UK.
